Steven Walker
Steven Walker was born in Myrtle Beach, SC and raised in Richmond, VA; where he later attended Virginia Commonwealth University and earned his BFA. Afterwards, he earned his MFA from Marywood University where he met his wife and fellow artist, Evelyn.
“ I didn’t come from a family of artists, I wasn’t top of my class or win a lot of awards but I’ve always had a strong work ethic and the passion to work on my craft.”
Steven Walker
Steven has been painting full-time since 2008; in that time he has participated in several local and national juried competitions. He was also featured in a statewide traveling exhibition hosted by the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
Since his emergence into galleries, his landscapes have been well-recognized by collectors and reside in several private collections. Collections include: the Boy Scouts of America, Hilton Hotels, the Virginia State Department, the National Parks Service, Dominion Resources, and the US Air Force.
Steven is an extremely dedicated painter, working towards advancing his career with the support of his wife Evelyn and daughter Poppy (who also doubles as his studio assistant). We currently have four of Steven Walker’s paintings in our Annual Small Works Group Exhibition! They’re on display now!

Since 2000, Jennifer has been painting full-time and actively participating in art events and community building programs. In addition, she teaches Plein Air painting workshops in various locations throughout the US and abroad. She has even found the time to pursue other art interests such as classical ballet. Jennifer believes learning is a never-ending process and continues to develop and refine her artistic talent through workshops, research, travel and frequent visits to museums and galleries.
“Painting is somewhat of a spiritual experience for me. Although challenging at times, the end result evokes within me a sense of elation, nostalgia and harmony.”
