September 20th: The Night of Artist Galore

14th Annual International Guild of Realism Exhibition

After all the crazy and time consuming preparation for the International Guild of Realism’s 14th Annual Reception Exhibition it opened on the eve September 20th, 2019. The night turned out to be a fun filled and jam packed array of art loving viewers and fabulous artists to boot.

It was just what was hoped for in an early fall event. The doors were open to let in the soothing whether and any meandering pedestrian to wander in. It was a pleasure to host this auspicious group, The International Guild of Realism, again and pleased to hang the ninety two chosen works for the exhibition this year!

Many of the participating artists made an appearance from all over to take part in the festivities including the founder of The International Guild of Realism, Donald Clapper. As there were plenty of amazing realistic oil and acrylic paintings there were also other extraordinary works in color pencil, charcoal, graphite, watercolor and pastel.

If you were not able to make it to this wonderful opening we are pleased to announce the ten awards! There were few awards to hand out making it a hard choice but again huge thank you to all of the Artists for being a part of the exhibition and a warm Congratulations for the those who received an award that evening!
