2024 Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize

Beautiful Bizarre Magazine is a skillfully curated contemporary art magazine based out of Sydney, Australia. The focus of the magazine is on art, culture, and couture ranging from the most beautiful things to the most bizarre. I’d say it’s one of the most unique and versatile publications on the market. In addition to highlighting artists across a multitude of disciplines, they have a ton of great outreach opportunities for artists. Their offerings include print and digital advertising, MentorMe (a free resource for creatives), the Beautiful Bizarre Artist Directory, and of course, the Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize.

The Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize, now in its 7th year, is an annual non-acquisitive international art prize that celebrates diversity and excellence in the representational visual arts. It includes all static mediums including Traditional Art media, Digital Art media, and Photographic media; and all styles from realism and hyperrealism, to pop surrealism and lowbrow. The 2024 Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize is now open for entries, and we are proud to be an official sponsor!

Our sponsorship goes toward the 33PA Emerging Artist Award. This award is targeted towards artists in the early stages of pursuing a professional artist career (within the first 5 years). In addition, to qualify as an “Emerging Artist” for this award; you cannot have won Awards or Prizes previously, you can’t be currently represented by a commercial gallery, nor had any solo exhibitions at a commercial gallery. Artists interested in entering can work in a representational style, digital medium, photography, and any 2 or 3-dimensional traditional medium.

We chose to put our name behind this particular award because we have been able to help artists pursue their passions and foster their talents to bring a little more beauty into the world for 30 years. We represent artists who began their careers in various ways and to be able to sponsor an award dedicated to emerging artists is a true honor.
